Our Awards

2010: Istanbul, Turkey - A Stevie International Business Award for BigFish's production company, Little Pond Production Trust, for its contribution to Transformation and Democracy through film.  

2010: BBC World Series, "My Country South Africa" broadcast six documentary films globally. Three of the six films screened were made by BigFish students.   2010: The only film school invited to participate in the 8th edition of the Tri-Continental Human Rights Film Festival.  

2009: China, Sichuan TV Festival old Panda Award for Best Documentary Cinematography for Soul Train.

2009: Winner of the prestigious Stevie International Business Award for Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the year in the Middle East and Africa.  

2008 & 2009: BigFish won 1st and 2nd place at the Bafundi National Student Film and TV Festival.   2008: 'Investing in Culture' platinum award presented by the then Minister of Arts and Culture, Minister Pallo Z Jordan, in recognition of excellence in technical innovation, capacity building and sustainability for outstanding performance.
